I am not sure why Windows 2008 is given a step-motherly treatment. I got rid of my Dell Studio 1535's OEM Vista(very sluggish), I loaded Server 2008(which I really really fast!) for which I had a real tough time finding the drivers. Dell doesn't support anything beyond Vista and hence no drivers from them. I could only get the Audio driver working; the Vista display driver setup says 'System doesn't match the requirements'. Then I found the drivers for ATI mobility Radeon 3450 drivers from the below link. Though it says for Vista, it downloads 117MB setup that works perfectly on windows 2008.
